Hi there, my name’s Debbi and I’m the friendly face (and inspired mind!) behind DLG Event Planning & Design Group.
After receiving a degree in business management, I joined the ranks of corporate America. Determined and passionate about my work, I rose to high management level positions, handling operations for multimillion-dollar enterprises.
After starting my family, I became one of the partners at an event production company. It perfectly combined my business savvy with my creative ingenuity, and I loved every minute of it!
Now, after 25 years as the partner and general manager of this successful event production company, I decided to launch DLG Event Planning & Design Group. Our Process
Step One: Consultation
After our initial phone consultation where we get to know one another and discuss your event, we will send a proposal covering the services you are looking for. Once we have agreed on the services, we will schedule our first planning meeting! Here’s where the fun begins!
Step Two: Venue and Vendor Selection
If you don’t already have a venue selected, we will suggest several venues that meet your criteria and go with you to the appointments. Vendor selection is next! After almost 30 years as the owner of an event production company, we have worked with all the very best professionals in each important area. We will make several suggestions in each category.
Step Three: Planning & Design
Time to meet with the creative vendors so they can develop customized proposals for you. You will be presented with a comprehensive design plan with room layouts, inspirational photographs, fabric swatches, & color palettes so you can begin to visualize your event coming to life.
Step Four: Production
Time to make your final decisions! You will sign your vendor contracts and they will begin production on your event.
Step Five: Final Planning and Celebration
About three months prior to your event, we will begin to create detailed schedules and timelines for each member of your vendor team. The DLG team of event professionals will be on-site the day of your event from the initial load-in through the end of the night.
We will ensure the day is running smoothly and ensure that you will enjoy your day as much as your guests will(or maybe more!)
